Welcome to Aabarana.lk, a Sri Lankan online jewelry store founded by Anoma Wimalasena in 2017. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing any order.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Aabarana.lk (“we”, “our”, “us”). By visiting our website or making a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms. We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must authorize the transaction.

3. Product Information

We take every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, and pricing are accurate. However, slight variations in color, finish, or texture may occur due to photography or screen differences. All jewelry is handcrafted or designed with care, and natural variations in gemstones or materials are normal.

4. Pricing and Payment

• All prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
• Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
• We currently accept Bank Transfers, VISA payments, and Pay in 4 installments via Payzy.
• Orders will be processed only after successful payment confirmation.
• All confirmed orders will be dispatched within 48 hours (working days) after receiving payment.

5. Orders and Availability

All products are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable after placing your order, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund or offer an alternative option. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order suspected of fraudulent activity.

6. Shipping and Delivery

We currently deliver only within Sri Lanka. Delivery time may vary based on stock availability and location. You must provide accurate delivery details. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect addresses or courier issues; however, we always try our best to resolve any problems arising from delays or courier-related issues on our side to ensure customer satisfaction.

7. Returns and Refunds

• Returns and refunds are accepted only for defective items, within 2 days after receiving your order.
• Returns for mind change or personal preference are not accepted.
• Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and include all tags.
• Earrings and custom-made jewelry are non-returnable due to hygiene and personalization reasons.
• Refunds will be processed after inspection and issued via the original payment method.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.

8. Custom-Made Jewelry

We accept custom-made orders, and pricing and delivery timelines depend on the design features and materials used. To begin a custom order, a 70% advance payment is required before production. Custom-made items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once the order has been confirmed, as they are created specifically to the customer’s request.

9. Warranty Policy

We provide a 6-month warranty covering manufacturing defects only. The warranty does not apply if:

• The jewelry is exposed to water, sweat, perfume, or chemicals.
• The jewelry shows damage from misuse, impact, or neglect.
• The color or quality changes due to normal wear or environmental exposure.

If eligible, the jewelry will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.

10. Intellectual Property

All images, designs, logos, and content on Aabarana.lk are the property of Aabarana.lk. Reproduction, distribution, or use of any content without written permission is strictly prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

Aabarana.lk shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from product use, delivery delays, or website issues. Use of our products is entirely at the customer’s own risk.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be handled under the jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
